Me, at a reservoir halfway up Pikes Peak in  '99

About  the Webmistress

Who, me? Aw, shucks. :)

I'm just a run-of-the-mill thirty-one year old with too much time on my hands. I've been stuck at home due to a (hopefully) transitory illness since 8/99,  fighting off a blue mood. When I first became ill enough not to work, my  days were pretty bleak - I don't care for talk shows or soaps, so I couldn't take my mind off my troubles with TV.

That is, until I found Simon & Simon. To date, it's one of the few things that can make me smile, warm my heart, and leave me better off than I was the hour  before. It may not sound like much, but these days, it makes all the difference.

I went online, trying to prolong the smile by finding information on the internet about this show.  There wasn't much and what I could find was few and far between. I decided that, as long as I'm killing time, I'd create the website I'd been looking  for in my initial search, built with respect and all the information I  could get my hot little hands on. So, I put my easy chair in front of the  computer and settled in to research my subjects. Many purchases and web searches later, this site was born.

Now, I don't claim to be an  expert on Simon & Simon, Mac, or JP. I can't even say I ever  saw the show in the 80s. (My family was strict Thursday night NBCers.) I'm still discovering things about the show from its run on A&E, and if I get something wrong, feel free to say so. I'm doing my best to get everything right, but I'm only human.

I sincerely hope you enjoy exploring it half as much as I enjoyed creating it.

In November of 2001, I wasn't  well enough to go back to work, but I decided to do something constructive with my free time (other than this site) ;). So, I'm working on a Master's Degree in Computer Information Services. I'm hoping that by the time I get my degree, I'll be well enough to put it to good use. It's hard work and  takes most of my time these days, so you won't see many updates in the  near future. Still, I'm only an email away if you have any questions or requests.

Please feel free to write me if you have any suggestions, comments, and/or questions.

Oh and I discovered I'm two  degrees of separation from Mac, and three from JP. Again, it's not much,  but it's these little happy thoughts that get me through the day. :)

Degree #1 - I've had tea with Elizabeth (Liz) Gracen.
(Liz is truly a beautiful person,  inside and out.)

Degree #2 - She  was in an episode of Murder She Wrote with Mac.

Degree #3 - Well,  you know. :)
