Review:
There were a lot of nice points to this episode. We see a bit more of the "protective" Rick even
though he thought they were "stuffy people", he made it his business to keep AJ safe once again.
I absolutely loved the beginning where they were so handsome in their tuxes.
One point I'd really like to make is when AJ was drinking on the porch and apparently had too much, he did not want to believe his friend was
taking drugs, as I am sure none of us would. But when AJ told him he guessed he'd have to accept it, I loved the way Rick said, "Would that be so awful?"
I once again hated that hurt look in his eyes when AJ was talking about Tommy being his best friend. I'm so glad the writer made AJ take back
that comment as he collapsed in Rick's arms.
When they went up to Tommy's room and AJ was looking at the picture of the two of them, the writer picked a perfect spot for AJ to tell his
brother that he missed him so much when he was in 'Nam and that Tommy's friendship helped keep him busy.
I remember the first time I seen this episode, I figured it was Trish - she just did not portray a grieving widow. I remember thinking then and
again now what nerve she had showing up and trying to appear sad.
AJ is VERY LUCKY he stopped that kiss when he did. I would have had a terrible time of forgiving an insensitive act, no matter how gorgeous he is.
A big hooray for Cece, what a speech she gave AJ for almost closing the case.
Notice how AJ knew he needed Rick to solve this because he wasn't thinking straight. I'm a sucker for the brotherly mush and there were some great
ones in this ep. I gave this one a 3 .
P.S. Jameson must have had a great time playing Polo in this EP as he played quite frequently in the 80's.
